The household consisted of Thomas, his wife Eleanor, and their three sons Edward (age 16) who is working as a clerk, Thomas (age 11) and William (age 9). Thomas (snr) is shown as a Hotel Keeper. The size of the properties in West Parade is unknown. However, judging from the occupations of the residents of adjacent properties West Parade was probably a commercial area and the hotel was at that address although no quests are shown on the night of the Census. A Google Maps 2021 Street View shows that the area has been redeveloped and 12 West Parade and adjacent properties are occupied by the Rooms Inn
