  • William White was two years younger than William Henry Rosam who was born in 1874. Unfortunately the name William Colin White is vey common so that searching birth registrations and censuses produces too many possible alternatives. However, on the assumption that family oral history is right about the year and that he was born within what is now the Greater London area there are three possibilities - Marylrbone or Edmonton in the first quarter or the City of London in the last quarter of 1876.

  • ||Pat, his wife's niece remembers meeting him after she moved to London in 1960 but he had died by the time that his wife's sister Winifred Rosam married Edward Appleton in 1967.

  • William was only two years younger than Edith's father and their secret marriage caused a bit of a scandle in the family. They did not have any children.
