William and Mary would have been present but who else was there is not known. The majority of the entries have the date of the marriage written in the margin. However, there is no marriage date given for William & Mary. Whether this signifies that they were not subsequently married or that they married in another parish is not known. A search for the marriage drew a blank. There are two possibilities as to why they didn't marry - one of them changed their mind which seems unlikely or one of them died. A search for their deaths which at that time would have been burial register entries in Whitechapel was negative. Also no events after 1807 such as the 1841 and 1851 Censuses which would indicate that they had been married could be found.

Individual Note

Apart from his baptism all other events in his life are difficult to determine
