  • Exactly when she moved and why is not known. She had been born in Grimsby and only moved to Lincoln when her father became a minister in the Church of England. Her father was dead and with the death of her mother, and her only surviving sister Maggie married and living at North Owersby she probably felt isolated in Lincoln and moved to Grimsby where she had relatives on her mother's side. She is not recorded in the 1921 Census
