The only record in which she is shown as a seamstress is the 1901 Census when she was an inmate of Shoreditch Workhouse. The word 'Shirt' has been added in a different handwriting. Perhaps she had been set to work making shirts for the inmates.

Without a Death Certificate it is not possible to be sure that she died in the workhouse but it seems unlikely that she left the workhouse after hier admission in January 1900. The Workhouse Register does not give a discharge date nor does it indicate that she died there.
