  • Elizabeth's great niece, Madeline (Wallace) was certain that Elizabeth was born after her grandmother Rose Laura Griffiths. As Rose was born in 1880 a nominal date of 1882 has been given to Elizabeth's birth. Where she was born is not known as it has not been possible to find her birth registration in either England or Ireland.
