  • Standby Props in the Film Industry||She started work in the film industry after leaving Farnham College in 1993. One of her first jobs was with Premier Films where she met Neil. After Premier Films was wound up she took work as a free lance, wherever she could get it, in the property departments of various productions. Jobs would last froma a few days to a few months. Because the work involved long hours and often took her away from home she gave it up a few months before the birth of her first child, Jamie, in August 2004.

  • The property which was a three bedroomed terraced house was built about 1901 and cost £450,000. Fortunately they were able to put down a substantial deposit funded from the liqidation of Premier Films which was a quarter owned by Neil and the sale of Rebecca's flat in Putney.

had problems with pregancy and confinement for her son Jamie||PHW and JPWW were told of Bec's pregancy when Neil and Bec visited Blackwithies for a few days over Christmas 2003. Athough it was very early in the pregancy they were told in case they noticed that Bec was not drinking alcohol!; PHW (NRB's mother) and JPWW (PHW's husband) were assured by Neil that the pregancy was planned.; The pregancy was normal and there was speculation as to whether the baby would be a boy or a girl. However, towards the end Bec developed Bell's Palsy and was taken into hospital. Although the progress of the palsy was checked by the use of steriods it was decided to induce the birth.7
