A. B. Snowden was probably the brother of the bride. The relationship of the other witness to the couple is unknown but he was probably a friend of the groom and may have been his best man. Other people who may have been there were the groom's father Edward and step-mother Martha, the bride's parents and his Aunt Alice who helped to bring him up after his mother died.
